D. G. CONTROL ROOM

BRIEF BACKGROUND

The City Police Control Room was established in 1981 near 1st Bn. Manipur Rifles. In 1981City Police Control Room was re-designated as D.G. Control Room. The D.G. Control Room is presently functioning near 1st Bn. Manipur Rifles, Imphal.

Duties

The duties assigned to DGCR are as under:

●	Coordination with district police and other units for collection of information,
●	Dissemination of information on the law and order situation to all concerned and monitor follow-up actions by the concerned units,
●	Liaison with SF/CPMF, etc.,
●	Officer-in-Charge to submit a brief resume of the information collected during preceding 24 hours to concerned senior officers, etc.
